Job summary

Golf Galaxy in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a store leader to oversee operations and deliver exceptional customer service across the store. The Assistant Store Manager will coach teammates, manage payroll, and ensure adherence to brand standards, policy compliance, and preventive loss programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of retail management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations and drive brand and operational excellence.
• Directly manage Front End, Freight and Operations teams and coach other areas as needed.
• Ensure compliance with cash handling, safety, LP audits, and other company policies.
• Handle recruiting, onboarding, performance management and corrective actions for hourly teammates.
• Enhance the customer experience through proactive coaching, scheduling and budget-conscious staffing.
