Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and cashier accountability.
• Familiarity with inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Ability to recruit, hire, train, and counsel staff in line with policies and laws.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to enforce safety, security and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to laws and policies; ensure proper staffing.
• Provide training, conduct performance evaluations, and counsel up to termination.
• Make recommendations on pay rate and advancement.
• Communicate performance expectations; coordinate meetings and safety policies.
• Open and close the store regularly and manage staffing.
• Monitor sales, profitability, and inventory trends; manage stock levels and orders.
• Stage, stock, and store merchandise per company processes.
• Maintain presentation, pricing, and signage across fixtures.
• Ensure accurate inventory and cash control; supervise cashier operations.
• Provide superior customer service leadership and maintain a safe store environment.
• Complete paperwork and documentation on schedule.
