Qualifications

• Reads and interprets documents, safety rules and procedures.
• Performs basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, percentages).
• Understands cash handling, deposits and cashier accountability.
• Familiar with IBM cash register functions and report generation.
• Knows inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Aware of cash, safety controls and store security policies.
• Recruiting, interviewing, hiring and coaching basics; ensures legal compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in staffing and recruiting activities.
• Help merchandise presentation and pricing according to guidelines.
• Support inventory management, damages, markdowns and store paperwork.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide customer service leadership and supervision as needed.
• Model compliance with policies and procedures in daily operations.
• Participate in opening/closing duties and cash accountability.
• Assist in maintaining clean, safe, well-stocked stores.
