Job summary

L.L.Bean is seeking a Store Team Leader of Retail Operations at our Legacy Village location in Lyndhurst, OH. This role drives store performance, leads team members, and delivers the legendary L.L.Bean customer experience in an outdoor lifestyle setting.

You will supervise daily operations, manage omni-channel processes, and partner with leadership to optimize staffing, training, and loss prevention. LP, service, and safety are emphasized throughout.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with at least 2+ years of retail experience.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Systems knowledge (POS, Word, Excel) and comfort with social media platforms.
• Ability to build strong partnerships and to work collaboratively to achieve goals.
• Ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Ability to maintain a high level of enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
• Demonstrated ability to foster an inclusive work environment and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean, organized, and efficient stock room.
• Manages inbound freight processing per SOP and completes shipments within 24 hours.
• Replenishes sales floor stock and pushes replenishment to the floor.
• Oversees return processes and assigns quality codes.
• Executes store-to-store transfers and omni-channel tasks (FES, phone, RIOs).
• Adheres to loss prevention policies and ensures safety.
• Models safe behaviors and mitigates risk.
• Acts as Leader on Duty to drive conversion and sales.
• Analyzes reports to identify trends and opportunities; build actions to improve loyalty and service metrics.
• Ensures fitting room service is high and sizes represented.
• Supports and trains associates; delivers GUIDE training and onboarding.
• Maintains employee communications and supervisor content.
