Job summary

Ross-Dress-For-Less is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a specific area of the store and assist as Manager on Duty. You will supervise associates, ensure safety, merchandising, and a clean, easy-to-shop environment while upholding company processes.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, training staff, and maintaining high standards in performance, presentation, and loss prevention. This role requires strong leadership and retail experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store as the Manager on Duty.
• Supervise Associates and maintain a friendly, easy to shop environment.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and keep stockrooms clean and organized.
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes as needed.
• Maintain safe and secure environments and report unsafe conditions.
• Lead Front End operations and coaching on cash register procedures and policy.
