Job summary

Ross Dress for Less is seeking an Area Supervisor to join our store leadership team. You will oversee a specific area, supervise associates, open/close the store, and ensure welcoming, clean, well-merchandised conditions aligned with our standards.

You will drive safety, customer service, and loss prevention, lead front-end operations, training, scheduling, and daily administrative duties. Excellent communication and the ability to work evenings and weekends are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations in retail.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety as the number one priority and ensures a safe shopping environment.
• Trains and coaches Associates on front-end procedures and cash handling.
• Manages payroll administration and scheduling for store staff.
• Oversees merchandising, stockroom organization, and loss prevention practices.
• Ensures adherence to company policies, codes of conduct, and performance standards.
