Job summary

Ross-Dress-For-Less is seeking an Area Supervisor responsible for a specific store area and overall store operations when acting as Manager on Duty. You will open/close the store, supervise Associates, and maintain a friendly, easy-to-shop environment with strong focus on safety and procedures.

You will drive merchandising, loss prevention, and front-end efficiency while upholding company policies and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment and correct hazards.
• Open and close the store; supervise Associates; ensure clean, well-merchandised store.
• Enforce merchandising standards and daily tasks (receiving, stocking, signing).
• Oversee loss prevention measures and maintain store security protocols.
• Supervise Front End operations and cashier functions; manage lines and wait times.
• Perform administrative duties as assigned by Store Manager.
