Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the General Manager in daily store operations while upholding company policies. You will supervise hourly staff, handle cash, inventory, and banking, ensure store standards and guest service, and adapt to flexible hours. Qualifications

Availability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
1-2 years of supervisory experience.
Ability to work unsupervised and follow instructions precisely.
Good communication, counting, reading and writing skills.

Responsibilities

Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
Supervise, develop, train and discipline hourly employees.
Monitor cash handling and inventory; assist investigations of shortages/overages.
Maintain business records and cashier accountability sheets.
Perform banking, invoicing, payroll and other administrative duties.
Manage cash procedures including deposits and change orders.
Maintain store image standards and cleanliness.
Ensure store safety and security per guidelines.
Coordinate gasoline deliveries and engage in promotions.
Deliver high-level guest service and follow company policies.
