Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a Store Operations Leader to manage multiple departments, drive sales, and safeguard product quality and safety in a dynamic retail environment.

You will lead hiring, training, and performance reviews while optimizing inventory and store profitability. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in related field and two or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education.
• Must obtain HIPAA certification through Company LEARN/LMS program within 2 weeks of starting in role.
• Must obtain Tobacco/Alcohol certification (TABC/LACT/AATC/ABLE) through Company LEARN/LMS program within 2 weeks of starting in role where applicable.
• Must obtain Manager Food Safety certification through Company LEARN/LMS program within 2 weeks of starting in role.
• Must obtain Anti-Money Laundering (AML) certification through Company LEARN/LMS program within 2 weeks of starting in role.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires, trains and develops partners; plans, assigns, and directs work; appraises performance and disciplines as needed.
• Ensures effective training of partners within departments.
• Reviews historical data to predict future sales and manages inventory to maintain in-stock levels.
• Maintains sales performance, cash flow, public relations, product quality, and work standards.
• Opens/closes the store and ensures staffing, safety and fiscal management of assets.
