Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking an experienced grocery department leader who can drive sales and profits through strong people management and customer service. You will supervise department personnel, hire/train partners, manage inventory, ensure product quality, and maintain compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities include reviewing historical data to forecast sales, controlling in-store displays, and coordinating with upper management to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 2+ years related experience.
• Must be 18+; 21+ to drive for company business per policy.
• Food Handler certification required.
• Manager Food Safety certification required.
• AML certification required where applicable.
• HIPAA certification required.
• TABC/LACT/AATC certification where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train and develop partners; plan and direct work.
• Review historical data to forecast sales and promotions.
• Manage inventory to maintain in-stock levels and proper rotations.
• Review P&L, shrink and labor data; report to upper management.
• Ensure product quality, safety standards and appealing displays.
• Open/close duties and ensure adequate staff for operations.
• Maintain clean, safe work and shopping environments following procedures.
