ALDI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Elkridge, MD to support store operations, drive sales, control expenses, and ensure customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will develop staff, enforce ALDI policies, and lead teams toward high performance.

The role includes full-time hours, a starting wage of $26.50 per hour with a planned increase to $27.50 in year two, and a strong focus on leadership, teamwork, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment and prior management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees resolution of employee and customer concerns.
• Communicates responsibilities and performance expectations with store manager.
• Assists in developing action plans to improve operating results.
• Leads store tours and provides hiring recommendations.
• Trains and develops store personnel to maximize potential.
• Ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
