Job summary

Family Dollar LLC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run the store, deliver excellent customer service, and develop the team. You will support daily operations, merchandising, and loss prevention to meet company standards.

The role requires strong communication and leadership in a fast-paced retail environment. This is a part-time on-site position with opportunities for growth and perks designed to support your health and career development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store is preferred.
• Lift up to 55 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, bending.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Supervise and develop Store Associates and maintain store standards.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and organized stockroom.
