Job summary

Family Dollar LLC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will assist with daily store activities, train associates, and ensure merchandise is organized, accessible, and properly displayed for promotions. The role requires strong communication and a customer-focused mindset and offers opportunities to contribute to store performance and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and bending.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed and process corporate directives.
• Help supervise, train, and develop store associates; ensure a safe, respectful environment.
