Job summary

Designer Brands in Bloomington, IN is seeking a Store Leader to drive exceptional customer service and retail operations. You will work closely with the Store Manager to execute priorities, coach the team, manage inventories, and ensure a positive in-store experience for every guest.

The role requires at least 2 years of management experience and a high school diploma, with some college preferred. You will support scheduling, payroll, and associate development while promoting policy compliance

Minimum 2 years of management experience required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Some college preferred.

Responsibilities

Elevate in-store experience by modeling CEL behaviors and coaching associates to meet KPIs.
Maintain store standards and complete daily open/close tasks including cleaning and maintenance.
Review action plans to ensure tasks are completed daily/weekly/monthly.
Improve metrics by reviewing progress and communicating results.
Increase sales by leveraging inventory reports and merchandising on the sales floor.
Ensure audits, donations, transfers, damages and related processes are followed.
Collaborate with Store Manager to ensure policies are followed.
Oversee inventory activities including freight receipt, MOOS and product placement.
Support omni activities in store including BOPIS and Charge/Send processes.
Assist in recruiting, interviewing and onboarding Store Associates.
Delegate and perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager.
