Job summary

Designer Brands in Bloomington, IN is seeking a Store Leader to drive exceptional customer service and retail operations. You will work closely with the Store Manager to execute priorities, coach the team, manage inventories, and ensure a positive in-store experience for every guest.

The role requires at least 2 years of management experience and a high school diploma, with some college preferred. You will support scheduling, payroll, and associate development while promoting policy compliance

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Elevate in-store experience by modeling CEL behaviors and coaching associates to meet KPIs.
• Maintain store standards and complete daily open/close tasks including cleaning and maintenance.
• Review action plans to ensure tasks are completed daily/weekly/monthly.
• Improve metrics by reviewing progress and communicating results.
• Increase sales by leveraging inventory reports and merchandising on the sales floor.
• Ensure audits, donations, transfers, damages and related processes are followed.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to ensure policies are followed.
• Oversee inventory activities including freight receipt, MOOS and product placement.
• Support omni activities in store including BOPIS and Charge/Send processes.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing and onboarding Store Associates.
• Delegate and perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager.
