Job summary

Altar'd State in North Carolina is seeking an Assistant Store Leader of Operations to drive sales, guest service, and merchandising standards while supporting the Store Leader. You will lead a guest-focused team, optimize scheduling, train associates, and oversee loss prevention, back-of-house tasks, and store presentation to ensure a best-in-class shopping experience.

This role requires at least 1 year of retail management experience, and a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail management experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting up to 30 pounds

Responsibilities

• Direct activities to achieve store goals including guest service, sales objectives, operating expenses, loss prevention, and merchandising presentation.
• Manage scheduling and back-of-house organization; oversee shipment and product prep processes.
• Train new associates on operational processes; co-manage payroll and store financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with loss prevention practices and communicate with executive team.
