Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience as department manager, service manager, or equivalent.
• Store manager/district manager approval.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager & associates in the achievement of a favorable customer shopping experience.
• Lead teams in planning, implementing & executing merchandising/operating initiatives.
• Develop action plans/communications to associates on Associate Insight survey results.
• Work with department heads/store associates to identify store opportunities, develop timely solutions & create action plans.
• Role model/demonstrate a high level of customer service and address issues/concerns.
• Manage total store operations in store manager’s absence.
• Achieve/exceed weekly, period, & annual sales and budgets, including safety and shrink targets.
• Drive sales by partnering with department managers to maximize sales and profits.
• Assist in regular store-level financial performance discussions with associates regarding budgets.
• Communicate necessary information to associates to help them carry out duties.
