The role requires overseeing staffing, training, performance management, and budgeting to optimize sales and profitability.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret operating statements and identify corrective actions to negative trends.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and deposit controls.
• Experience recruiting, interviewing, hiring, counseling and terminating staff.
• Knowledge of local/state food handling certifications and requirements.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review operating statements to identify trends, profitability and expense-control opportunities.
• Maintain compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and store policies.
• Oversee ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing, and merchandising presentation.
• Plan and lead staff meetings, schedule development, and training.
• Recruit, hire, train and supervise store employees; manage performance and discipline as needed.
• Ensure proper cash control, deposits, and cashier accountability.
• Maintain safety, food handling, and sanitation standards; ensure regulatory compliance.
