Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• 1 year of experience as department manager, service manager, or equivalent.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing associates to achieve goals.
• Experience using KPIs, metrics, and data insights to identify opportunities and support decisions.
• Proven ability to collaborate across departments and influence store performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager and associates in delivering a favorable customer shopping experience.
• Lead teams in planning, implementing and executing merchandising/operating initiatives.
• Develop action plans and communicate results to associates.
• Identify store opportunities and create timely solutions for plan execution.
• Model high level customer service and resolve issues.
• Manage total store operations in the manager's absence.
• Achieve sales, wage budgets, and profit budgets, plus safety/shrink targets.
• Drive sales by maximizing department profits and reducing shrink.
• Discuss budgets and targets with associates.
