Job summary

Walmart Inc. in Rapid City, SD, seeks a dynamic store leader to drive profitability and customer satisfaction. You will lead and develop hourly associates, reinforce Walmart's One Best Way service model, and execute plans across merchandising, operations, and community engagement.

The role emphasizes training, feedback, and collaboration with all levels of staff to achieve sales and service goals while upholding Walmart values.

Qualifications

2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and Firearms Training may be required where applicable.
Associates will be required to attend and complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

Responsibilities

Leads and develops teams by training and listening to associates, touring stores, and giving feedback.
Manages customer service initiatives and ensures high quality customer experience.
Reviews PL statements, budgets, forecasts, and controls expenses to drive store profitability.
Coordinates staffing, training, and performance development to meet business needs.
Ensures compliance with policies and supports ethics and integrity throughout operations.
