Job summary

Walmart in Sioux City, IA is seeking a store operations leader to drive team performance and customer service excellence. You will supervise hourly associates, coach staff, and implement business initiatives across merchandising, operations, and community outreach.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams by teaching training and actively listening to associates, providing feedback and guiding store operations.
• Drive store financial performance by reviewing PL/Profit & Loss statements, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses in designated area.
• Supervise hourly associates, hire, train, mentor, assign duties, set expectations and develop qualified staff to meet staffing and growth goals.
• Coordinate plans with stakeholders, promote a culture of belonging, and ensure adherence to company policies and integrity standards.
