Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Culver City is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise flow from delivery to sales floor while maintaining seasonal areas.

The role requires strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills with a focus on safety and policy compliance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
Retail/store management experience preferred (retail, grocery, or drug store environment).
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform dynamic store duties.

Responsibilities

Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
Perform opening and closing procedures.
Process corporate directives and store communications.
Maintain storefront fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness.
Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, record-keeping (including payroll and scheduling), and loss prevention.
Sustain a clean, well-stocked store and secure assets including cash.
Ensure policy compliance and safe, respectful environment for customers and associates.
Support Store Manager in supervising and developing Store Associates.
