Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Los Angeles to help run daily store operations, elevate customer service, and lead a developing team. You will be involved in merchandising, staffing, and ensuring our standards across the sales floor and stockroom.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize merchandise and maintain seasonal areas of the store.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain records and handle payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Assist in loss prevention and protect store assets.
• Train and develop Store Associates; supervise as needed.
• Keep the store clean, safe and presentable; follow safety guidelines.
