Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and supervise store associates to maintain a safe and friendly environment.

The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and a dedication to high-energy teamwork in a retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical duties as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional displays and store fixtures.
