Job summary

Walmart in Sherman, TX is seeking a store leadership role focused on building high‑performing teams and delivering exceptional customer service. You will supervise hourly associates, mentor staff, manage budgets, and drive sales while upholding Walmart’s One Best Way and integrity standards.

You will coordinate store operations, ensure accurate merchandising, lead change initiatives, and support community programs, with a focus on belonging, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams by teaching training and providing feedback.
• Manages store operations, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses.
