Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply in Fort Oglethorpe, GA is seeking a seasoned retail leader to serve as second in command to the Store Manager. You will provide direction to the store and salon team, drive sales, maintain a safe work environment, and ensure a positive customer experience.

You will partner with the Store Manager on staffing, training, scheduling, and implementing merchandising and loss prevention initiatives, while coaching Team Members to deliver great service and store performance.

Qualifications

• Requires previous retail leadership experience.
• Experience with pet/live animal knowledge strongly preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in store operations, driving sales and profitability.
• Counsel and supervise Team Members, schedule, train, and maintain a productive work environment.
• Lead store operations in the Manager's absence and ensure safety and policy compliance.
• Perform merchandising, price changes, and loss prevention duties.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues to maintain a positive experience.
