Job summary

US Foods is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead front-end operations and training, driving sales and profitability in a retail setting. You will supervise staff, manage customer service quality, and contribute to budgeted goals while upholding company standards.

You will partner with the Store Manager to implement the Annual Operating Plan, oversee inventory, scheduling, shrink control, and staff development to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum four years in a retail environment.
• Two years of management/supervisory experience.
• Flexible hourly schedule including holidays and weekends.
• Cash handling experience and computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach front-end employees for service quality.
• Address personnel and performance issues with coaching and warnings.
• Collaborate with Store Manager on AOP and budgeted sales.
• Manage shrinkage with emphasis on front-end processes.
• Oversee inventory and daily store operations.
• Ensure policy compliance and safe working environment.
• Plan demonstrations and merchandising aligned with programs.
