Job summary

BFS Foods, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee store operations in partnership with the General Manager, ensuring program execution, product implementation and optimal inventory control, quality of raw and finished products, sanitation and preparation schedules, and adherence to company policies.

You will lead customer service with a focus on guest satisfaction, manage scheduling and staffing, assist in ordering/receiving, merchandising and promotions, and handle basic accounting

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work unscheduled hours and cover shifts as needed.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide top quality, fast, friendly service and guest satisfaction.
• Assist in scheduling and supervising staff across shifts.
• Oversee ordering, receiving, build-to’s and inventory control.
• Manage merchandising, signage and promotions to maximize sales.
• Ensure foodservice sanitation, safety and cleanliness to standards.
• Support basic accounting tasks, cash handling and deposits.
• Collaborate with General Manager on program execution and store operations.
