US Foods is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Charleston, SC to oversee front-end operations, training, and customer service excellence. The role supports the Store Manager in achieving the Annual Operating Plan with a focus on sales, profit, and shrink control.

The candidate should have at least four years in retail with two years in a supervisory role, plus strong planning, financial awareness, and leadership capabilities. Flexibility to work weekends and a full-time schedule is required.

Qualifications

• A two-year college degree or equivalent work experience is required.
• A degree in Business Management, Supply Chain/Wholesale Management, or Accounting / Finance is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of four (4) years in retail and at least two (2) years of supervisory/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach employees at registers and throughout the store.
• Assist Store Manager in executing the Annual Operating Plan and budgeting.
• Recruit, train, and develop front-end staff and oversee loss prevention.
• Ensure adherence to policies and safe, clean store operations.
• Plan demonstrations, manage merchandising programs, and ensure accurate inventory processes.
