Job summary

Ross Dress for Less is seeking a Store Manager in Texas to oversee all store operations, lead the leadership team, and ensure Company standards are consistently met. You will recruit, train, and develop Associates, manage the stockroom, front end, and sales floor to ensure timely merchandise placement and controlled expenses, while driving sales and profitability.

This role requires five or more years of retail store management, strong customer service, and the ability to lead, coach and develop

Qualifications

• Five or more years of Store management experience in a retail environment.
• Must maintain a high level of Customer service.
• Must demonstrate the ability to lead, manage, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.
• Ability to train, coach and develop Associates at all levels.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks necessary to accomplish goals, develop a schedule to complete tasks and execute to achieve results.
• Fluency in English.
• Must exercise considerable independent judgement and discretion.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of Assistant Store Manager, Area Supervisors and all Retail Associates.
• Lead staffing, training and development of leadership team to deliver sales and profit results.
• Manage payroll administration and scheduling to meet business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with Company policies, safety standards and loss prevention programs.
• Represent and uphold Ross brand and customer service standards across the store.
• Coordinate merchandise processing and in-store marketing per Company guidelines.
