Job summary

UNFI is hiring an Assistant Store Director to oversee store operations across multiple south metro locations, including areas such as Minnehaha or Rosemont. The role emphasizes supervision and staff development to drive exceptional customer experiences.

You will partner with the Store Director and department heads to plan budgets, control costs, optimize front-end and ecommerce operations, and manage scheduling and HR tasks. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates functional/technical store operations expertise.
• Proven managerial skills to monitor performance and accountability.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establishes budget, plans for budgetary numbers, and evaluates store performance.
• Oversees Front End Operations including cashiers and service centers.
• Supervises eCommerce and Maintenance departments and ensures proper coverage.
• Manages store personnel functions, including hiring decisions and performance reviews.
