Job summary

CNRG, Inc. is seeking a Team Leader to manage store activities in the absence of salaried management.

The role demands strong leadership, a focus on mission and values, and aggressive customer service to meet budgeted goals. Responsibilities include supervising associates, coordinating merchandise, conducting cycle counts, ensuring safety, training new staff, maintaining floor appearance, and communicating programs and procedures across the team.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate leadership and problem solving skills.
• Be able to manage with limited supervision.
• Strong oral and written communication for interacting with customers, vendors and associates.

Responsibilities

• Supervising other associates as assigned.
• Maintaining enthusiasm, commitment, and energy and motivating others.
• Providing solutions to customer questions and maintaining program procedures.
• Coordinating merchandise orders to meet sales trends and demand.
• Completing cycle counts and reconciling inventory discrepancies.
• Training new associates in product knowledge, selling skills, and customer service.
• Maintaining store appearance and stock areas, stocking products.
• Creating displays to improve sales and shopping ease.
• Ensuring safety and addressing hazards.
• Working with others to meet budgeted goals.
• Climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 lbs., flexible schedule including weekends/evenings/holidays.
