Job summary

Goodwill Industries of South Florida is seeking a Store Supervisor to assist the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in all aspects of store operations, including financial performance, personnel management, and front-end cash operations.

The role includes cross-training in Processing, Cashiering, Sales Floor, and Visual Merchandising, with a focus on staffing, training, and enforcing company policies to meet store expectations and deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Store Supervisor duties include assisting Store Manager and Assistant Manager in overall store operations
• Cross-trained in Processing, Cashiering, Sales Floor, and Visual Merchandising
• Focus on training others and ensuring store expectations are met
• Maintain customer service and safety standards across all store areas

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store; tally cash registers and deposits
• Manage collections and donations processing; Kaizen-based sorting and pricing
• Achieve weekly production goals through merchandise rotation
• Generate store reports and employee schedules
• Ensure stockroom production meets goals with minimal waste
• Train and cross-train staff; enforce company policies and procedures
• Provide timely, courteous customer service to donors and shoppers
• Maintain clean, orderly processing area and good housekeeping
