Job summary

Dollar General seeks a Store Manager responsible for overseeing all store processes, from ordering and stocking to selling and staffing. You will recruit and train staff, manage performance, and ensure compliance with policies and laws while driving sales and profitability.

Responsibilities include daily opening/closing, inventory management, and ensuring excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Retail management experience is preferred (1 year).
• Must be able to read and interpret documents and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees per laws and policies; ensure staffing.
• Provides training, conducts performance evaluations, and counsels employees as needed.
• Makes recommendations on pay rate and advancement.
• Communicates performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinates safety meetings.
