Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Experience with cash handling and POS systems.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to recruit, hire, train and coach staff while ensuring compliance with laws and policies.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to labor laws and policies.
• Provide training and conduct performance evaluations; address gaps and counseling as needed.
• Make recommendations on pay rates and advancement.
• Communicate performance expectations and conduct regular meetings for safety and policy adherence.
• Open and close the store as required.
