Job summary

Ross Dress For Less in Easton is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, supervise Associates, and uphold company policies across Customer, Associate and merchandising areas.

You will learn all aspects of store operations, stand in for the Store Manager when needed, ensure payroll accuracy, scheduling, safety and compliance, and coach teams toward high standards of service and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of Store or Assistant Store Manager experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to supervise, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize.
• Maintain high quality of Customer service.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead all Store operations in the absence of the Store Manager to ensure company standards and best practices are met.
• Assist in payroll administration including daily punch edits, Associate scheduling, and payroll reporting as needed.
• Recruit, hire, train and develop non-exempt Associates and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Manage scheduling and staffing to meet business objectives and control expenses.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Lead Loss Prevention awareness and participate in annual inventory processes.
