Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Store Manager to lead all store operations, oversee staffing, training, merchandising, and daily processes. You will drive sales, manage inventory, and uphold cash control while maintaining a safe and welcoming shopping environment.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to recruit and evaluate staff in a fast-paced retail setting. A valid driver’s license and the ability to work flexible hours are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Experience recruiting, training and evaluating staff in compliance with laws and company policies.
• Strong cash handling, inventory, and loss prevention knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Direct and supervise all store employees; plan/implement store processes including ordering, receiving, stocking, presentation, selling, staffing and support.
• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees; ensure proper staffing and training; conduct performance evaluations.
• Make recommendations on pay rates and advancement; enforce safety, security and policy standards.
• Communicate performance expectations; lead meetings to reinforce policies and procedures.
• Open/close store as required; manage daily operational readiness.
