Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in New York to support day-to-day store operations and drive performance. You will supervise staff, set schedules, and help develop action plans while identifying coaching opportunities to grow the team.

The role is full-time, averaging 38 hours per week, with starting pay at $27.50 per hour and a wage increase to $28.50 in year 2. Benefits are provided to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• You must be 18 years of age or older to be employed for this role at ALDI
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• Ability to lead others and provide prompt customer service
• Ability to manage budgeting, personnel costs, and expenses

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identify training opportunities to improve performance.
• Support store payroll and total loss budget management.
• Ensure inventory procedures and cash controls are followed.
