Job summary

FiveStar in Buckner, KY is hiring an Assistant Manager to partner with the General Manager in daily store operations, including customer service, staffing, merchandising, and food service oversight.

You will train and coach the store team, ensure policies are followed, monitor inventory levels and pricing signage, and assist in addressing store issues to sustain efficient, friendly service and strong store performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of retail management experience and/or equivalent education.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Team player, customer focused, honest, hardworking, and excellent attendance.
• Basic Computer Skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing overall operations of the store with focus on customer service, staffing, and daily tasks.
• Support training and policy communication for the store team.
• Participate in merchandising, pricing, and inventory management.
• Assist in addressing store issues with the General Manager and ensure labor budget adherence.
• Oversee food operation, ensuring appearance, quality, promotions, signage, and safety guidelines.
• Learn and understand P&L statements.
