Job summary

Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay is seeking a Retail Store Manager to lead daily operations at a Daly City store, driving sales, production, and customer service excellence. The role requires coordinating payroll and operating budgets while ensuring brand standards and a welcoming donor/customer experience.

The position involves supervising Team Members, mentoring staff, and supporting community engagement initiatives. Occasional travel to other Bay locations and training sessions is required.

Qualifications

• One-year work experience in retail management.
• One-year customer service experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to pass a background check where applicable.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes retail operations plan to achieve daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals for operating income, revenue, and production.
• Monitors product levels daily to achieve bottom line sales budget against targets.
• Ensures payroll costs and operating costs are managed to budget.
• Ensures Team Members deliver excellent customer service to donors and customers.
• Acts as a key holder for the store, closing shift manager, and backup to the Store Manager.
• Will need to travel to other Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay locations to assist other stores.
