Job summary

Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay is seeking a District Leader to oversee 10-14 retail locations, directing daily operations and driving growth across the district. You will lead store teams, manage budgets, and ensure excellent donor and customer service while upholding Goodwill brand standards.

The role requires 3-5 years of large-format retail leadership, proven ability to manage $30–$35M in annual revenue, and strong financial and personnel management skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience overseeing 8–12 locations.
• Proven leadership of large-scale thrift/store operations.
• Experience managing $30–$35M in annual revenue preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial metrics, reporting and budgeting.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Executes retail operations plan to achieve growth in profit, revenue, and production for multiple locations.
• Spends time in stores with teams and customers to identify critical issues.
• Coordinates with Store Managers to set objectives and monitor product levels to meet budget targets.
• Leads district strategy discussions and stays updated on market trends.
• Partners with HR and other departments to meet people management goals and compliance.
