Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking an Assistant Manager in Chicago to lead store operations, drive sales, and nurture a high‑performing team. You will oversee opening/closing routines, staffing, and payroll while delivering best‑in‑class customer service and brand‑leading product knowledge.

You will also guide floor leadership, execute creative floorsets, train staff, and monitor reporting to optimize performance in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or one year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing role.
• Strong customer focus and knowledge of current fashion trends.

Responsibilities

• Perform Opening and Closing Routines.
• Supervise salesfloor & stockroom, ensuring excellent customer service & seamless operations.
• Conduct staffing and scheduling operations and payroll management.
• Train and develop the non-management staff.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and brand awareness, while driving sales.
• Build and maintain visual displays.
• Analyze reporting to inform decision making.
• Protect store assets & perform inventory control.
• Operate Register/Point of Sale systems.
• Fulfill OMNI Channel Orders.
• Represent the Brand and Exemplify Company Culture and Values.
