Dollar General seeks an experienced store manager to lead all store operations, prioritize staffing, and ensure excellent customer service. You will manage inventory, merchandising, cash controls, and training while driving sales and maintaining a safe, engaging shopping environment.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and adherence to company policies, with responsibility for opening and closing routines and daily performance. This is a full-time, in-store position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to train and coach staff.
• Knowledge of cash handling, inventory management and safety practices.

Responsabilités

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees and ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provide proper training for employees; conduct performance evaluations; counsel or terminate as needed.
• Make recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
• Communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations; lead meetings and reinforce policies.
• Ensure store opening/closing procedures are followed and store is well managed daily.
• Monitor sales, expenses, inventory and shrink; implement process improvements.
• Oversee stock replenishment, merchandising presentation and pricing signage.
• Maintain cash controls and financial integrity of the store.
• Provide exceptional customer service leadership and a safe shopping environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and complete all paperwork on time.
