Job summary

ALO is seeking an Operations Manager to lead store operations, inventory, labor planning, and schedule management, ensuring the store is customer-ready at all times.

You will partner with the General Manager to manage budgets, review performance data, and drive continuous improvement across processes and teams. This role requires hands-on leadership and a commitment to ALO’s guiding principles.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of retail or related industry leadership experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support execution of key operational processes.
• Investigate inventory accuracy issues, partnering to elevate processes.
• Champion strong operational standards on the sales floor using performance data.
• Support sell-through management by ensuring inventory counts and coordinating labor hours.
• Support a safe and efficient work environment.
• Represent the business in meetings and with General Manager on budget and data.
• Monitor and partner with GM to manage expenses, sell-through, and quarterly planning.
• Plan future workflows to protect optimal performance.
• Write effective schedules in collaboration with the GM.
• Establish internal and external pipelines through succession planning and recruitment.
• Lead the Operations team with accountability and ongoing coaching.
• Execute components of the Sales and Service Model to protect efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align with the General Manager’s vision.
• Navigate the organization balancing business needs with brand culture.
