Job summary

Hollywood Feed in Alabaster, AL is seeking a Third Key Holder to support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager. You will open and close the store, greet customers, and ensure safe, efficient, and profitable operations while upholding our policy: Do what is right by the customer.

This role offers an hourly wage of $15.50 to $19 per hour, with weekend availability and opportunities to learn product knowledge, stock management, and POS operations.

Qualifications

• Commitment to animals and their owners is vital.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Proven sales and customer service abilities.
• Knowledge of store products or ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to operate or learn the point-of-sale system.
• Valid driver's license with at least 2 years' driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and ensure readiness for business.
• Greet and assist customers while upholding service standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of products to address needs of pets and customers.
• Stock deliveries and operate the POS system, including transactions.
• Maintain communication with supervisors and coworkers; train new employees.
• Maintain weekend availability and 3 nights of closing per week.
• Participate in store maintenance, pricing updates, and safety practices.
