Job summary

Hollywood Feed is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Alabaster location to help drive store performance and customer satisfaction in line with our policy: “Do what is right by the customer.” The role requires leadership, team coordination, and hands-on supervision of daily store operations.

The successful candidate will work at least 40 hours per week, oversee staff, manage inventory, and ensure excellent service while adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

• Commitment to animals and their owners is vital at Hollywood Feed.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Proven sales and customer service abilities.
• Knowledge of store products or ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to operate or learn the point-of-sale system.
• Valid driver's license with at least 2 years driving experience.
• Ability to safely operate biometric and safety technologies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee team and communicate with customers; assist as needed.
• Manage daily tasks and responsibilities of team members.
• Conduct or assist with performance evaluations when requested.
• Close the store 3 nights per week and attend meetings.
