Job summary

Hollywood Feed in Alabaster, AL is seeking a Third Key Holder who reports to the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager. You will open and close the store, serve customers, and ensure safe, efficient, and profitable operations while upholding Hollywood Feed's policy: "Do what is right by the customer." This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $15.50/hr.

to $19/hr. In addition to competitive wages, team members receive tips, generous discounts, and free pet food and supplements.

Qualifications

• Commitment to animals and their owners is vital.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening.
• Proven sales and customer service abilities.
• Knowledge of store products or ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to operate or learn the point-of-sale system.
• Valid driver's license with at least 2 years' driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and ensure readiness for business.
• Greet and assist customers and demonstrate product knowledge.
• Maintain communication with supervisors and coworkers respectfully.
• Work independently and with the team; train new employees.
• Maintain open weekend availability including 3 nights per week.
• Unload and stock deliveries; operate POS and manage transactions.
• Perform weekly store maintenance and price updates.
• Safely operate company vehicles for Same Day Delivery orders.
