Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc., HomeGoods store in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking a Key Carrier who alternates with the Coordinator role to lead and support store operations. You’ll demonstrate leadership, coach Associates, and ensure procedures are followed, including opening/closing tasks and labor compliance.

You must be available nights and weekends, deliver exceptional service, and help drive store performance while maintaining a positive work environment for teammates and customers alike.

Qualifications

• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• 1 year retail, 6 months leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience.
• Promotes honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality.
• Acts as Manager on Duty adhering to company policy and procedure.
• Ensures store team performs tasks per store plan and prioritizes accordingly.
• Addresses customer service issues and coaches Associates.
• Maintains accurate Associate coverage for a positive customer experience.
• Ensures opening/closing procedures are executed per guidelines.
• Communicates with management and Associates on priorities and progress.
• Provides feedback, recognition and coaching to Associates.
• Partners with Management on training needs to increase effectiveness.
• Ensures adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs and shrink reduction goals.
