Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Durham, NC is hiring for a Key Carrier role at our HomeGoods location. This position advances from a Coordinator role, leading daily store operations, coaching associates, and ensuring policy adherence while maintaining excellent customer service.

You must be available nights and weekends, work as part of a team, and respond well to changing priorities. Prior retail experience and some leadership exposure are preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and at least 6 months in a leadership role.
• Ability to work nights and weekends with open availability.
• Strong customer service and coaching skills.
• Knowledge of store operations and merchandise flow.
• Proficiency with standard store software and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty per policy and procedure.
• Lead Associates and provide coaching and follow-up on tasks.
• Ensure opening/closing procedures are executed correctly.
• Maintain adequate Associate coverage for operations and guest experience.
• Support shrink reduction and safety initiatives.
