ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Lansdowne to support the direct leader in day-to-day store operations, supervise staff, and help drive store performance.

Starting wage is $26.50 per hour with a $1 raise in year two; full-time, 38 hours per week. You will develop schedules, training opportunities, ensure product quality, signage, and loss prevention while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• Prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to their direct reports to ensure mutual understanding and desired results.
• Identifies training and development opportunities for direct reports to improve performance.
• Demonstrates ALDI core values and fosters teamwork among employees.
• Monitors the competitive environment and informs leadership of adjustments needed to stay competitive.
• Provides product feedback and makes recommendations on items to carry or discontinue.
• Participates in interviewing store personnel.
• Ensures inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control policies are followed to minimize losses.
• Maintains store cleanliness and proper signage at all times.
• Assists with stock levels through product ordering and merchandising to maximize sales.
• Ensures quality and freshness of products and accurate signage.
