Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Connecticut for the Madison area. The ASM assists the General Manager in daily operations, upholding policies, and driving customer service and sales performance.

The role requires 1–2 years of supervisory experience, ability to work flexible hours, and reliable transportation. You will handle cash, inventory, banking, invoicing, and payroll tasks while ensuring safety and brand standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years supervisory experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and/or holidays.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Supervise, develop, train and discipline non-exempt employees, holding them accountable for upholding operational standards.
• Monitors shift cash handling and inventory; assists in investigations of shortages/overages and inventory variations.
• Maintains business records, review cashier accountability sheets and prescribed reports.
• Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and/or other administrative duties per policies.
• Manage cash management procedures including bank deposits and change orders.
• Maintain brand standards and store image; ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure store safety and environmental compliance; report issues to management.
• Coordinate gasoline deliveries and participate in promotions.
• Engage in company promotional initiatives and guest service excellence.
